One

What is the point of me without you?

Who are you?

Why aren’t you where you should be?

If everything is where it should be.

Why aren’t you?

A black, faceless, shadow upon my future.

But doubt in my mind.

Will you ever appear?

You and the two?

Isn’t my destiny?

Isn’t yours?

What’s the point of me without you?

You know I have nothing left to do.

I am just waiting for you and the two.

So come, unknown, come, meet me at the door, I will welcome you well and I will adore you for… Don’t be shy, it’s alright my sweet darling. I am here to greet you, whole-hearted and true. Don’t you see? I live to serve, and the person I should serve is you.

sincerely,

my creepy heart

Cue music…

One is the loneliest number
One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do”

You know the song… made famous by Three Dog Night… but written by Harry Nilsson as he listened to the busy signal on the phone…play it in your head would ya?

Or you know, listen to it on youtube, that is cool too.

I guess the first version of the song was released by Al Kooper in 1968. Nilsson, what a guy?! I guess one of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of all time according to Rolling Stone Magazine. I want to watch the 2006 documentary, “Who is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin’ About Him)?. Hopefully, that will give me a clue about him. Anyway, in the meantime, his Wikipedia is cool…

By the way, the picture, in the beginning, contains two paintings made by my favorite artist Ms.Nagy. I keep the paintings together so they can keep each other company 😉
