Polyblip, comprised of musicians Feroze and Chris, is a band with the ability to create innovative, experimental and unique instrumental music. If you are into down-tempo, ambient instrumentals with an electronic emphasis then you should definitely check out the musical stylings of Polyblip.
Polyblip currently has two EP albums out, Broad Visions and Evolver. Their most recent EP, Broad Visions, is analogous to their older EP, Evolver. Both albums are short and sweet with only four songs on each, although I wish they were longer. Broad Visions and Evolver provides a nice musical flow with fluid transitions. The airy and ambient sounds of these two albums can make you feel like you are in a world of peaceful and beautiful dreams. Like with so many of my favorite bands such as, Radiohead and Hiatus Kaiyote, it took me a few cycles through both albums, before l was able to understand and truly enjoy it….which I find is typical of music that doesn’t fall within traditional musical measures.
Polyblip creates music for easy listening and easy groovin’. Their music is fluid, calming and soothing which is perfect when creating a chill and uplifting atmosphere. So next time you feel like escaping into your beautiful dreamland, kick back, relax, and throw on Polyblip. It is great music is let you thoughts wander undisturbed. 🙂
