It’s election day and many voters are feeling particularly apathetic towards this years election…. so here is some musical inspiration for you as you make your way to the polls.
Public Enemy’s historic song “Fight the Power” off their album Fear of a Black Planet, maintains relevance today . Released in 1989, at time when racial tensions were high, it inspired many and served as an anthem for politicized youth.
As America struggles with race in this years election, lets remember, we have the power to mend racial divides when we all come together at the polls and make our voices heard.
