I just died and gone to heaven. I just blew out my eardrums and spilled my last tears…and it was well worth it. Let me tell you the story…
I went down to my local record shop to pick out a random, cheap, record album based on how cool the cover was…you know. I was browsing through used rock albums when suddenly, my head started bobbing up and down, and a girl, with a beautiful voice, sang to me as vibrations from above gave me intense pleasure. I heard the shopkeeper say “I think this is going to be the album of the year.” I turned my head and asked in a mousy manner, “who is this?”.
The record shopkeeper, might not have realized it, but he just changed my life forever.
Thank you record shopkeeper, thank you so much.
I quickly made my purchase and just for curiosity’s sake look down below if you are wondering what I bought.

“Eye of the Zombie” John Fogerty
No no no…. no offense but no Fogerty tonight. I ran out of the store, to look up “Le Femme” and was disappointed because I could not find the album “Mystère“. Discontented, I almost turned back to the shop…but then I realized, from my days of French class, the “La” is the feminine of “Le”.
So, I tried “La Femme” and struck gold. There it was “Mystère” with its elegant cover of a mysterious, red-headed women… her hands in a position of offering.
As I listened to the album on my walk home, I held back tears, trying not to cry in public due to the shear goodness of this album. As my enjoyment of the album increased so did the volume in my headphones. I attempted not to make it past the level of affecting my hearing, but at some point I gave in. The music took over my whole brain, there was no room for my other senses. I needed to get home.
Don’t worry I made it.
Friends….lets put our hands together and thank God, Brahma, the Universe, for bringing these musical saints together so eloquently.
Thank you La Femme thank you…
