Okay so I am dedicated to taking some better pictures of this scene now that I am learning more about my camera. But I could not resist posting about my Sunday night, even though the pics are not the best quality, because it was a great night.
If you are a fan of music, jazz, the eclectic, lovable and quirky people then Raven’s Club in Ann Arbor on Sunday night is for you!

Sax: Dan Bennett, pictured (as I came to find out later…)
My jaw dropped when I saw the jazz performance by members of the Heather Black Project. The vocalist was out sick but two saxophonists stood in and made for a stellar performance. I only wish I would have caught their names….but when a performance shakes my bones I have to be on another level to get the courage to talk to the artists…but hey man, I work on Mondays.
If it’s on next week, come join me at the Raven’s Club on Sunday night.
I will be the one with the camera on struggling, as I figure out how I can take a picture in a dimly lit restaurant, where the street lights cast shadows on the performers through the window and I am trying not to be obnoxious by using the flash.
